50 Years of Girls at Stowe

Over the course of the 2024/25 academic year, we have been celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Girls at Stowe, marking the milestone since the first five girls joined in September 1974.

The 2025 edition of The Corinthian magazine celebrates this important anniversary: we are proud to have included recollections from Old Stoics and Former Staff about the early days of girls at Stowe, the changes that have taken place along the way and where the School is now. A special Old Stoic Day was held on 21 September 2024 to formally mark this important anniversary. An exhibition of Stowe Archive material was shared at the event and is available to browse by clicking on the downloads below.
